Over two days, Moss Vale and Wingello battled it out for the 2001/02 1st grade premiership.

Moss Vale won the toss and elected to bat and at the end of their 80 overs were 9/255. T.Friedrich (119) and T.Loader(40) were the main run scorers for Moss Vale. Craig Hutton was Wingello's top wicket taker snagging 4 wickets for 67 runs off an incredible 23 overs. He was supported by Leigh O'Connor, Ricky Martin, James (custard) Baldwin and Shane Robson each taking one wicket. Some brilliant fielding saw wingello effect two unbelievable run-outs which put Moss Vale on the back foot.
